We demand structural
correctness, muscle, and eye appeal without sacrificing the
maternal characteristics that make for an excellent
replacement doe.
The
doe is the backbone of any operation and must carry such attributes as
hardiness, big correct conformation, good milk production & great
mothering abilities. These attributes must be present first and all
else come after.
Our
Does are expected to “work” for a living. You won’t find
fat, pampered, penned grain fed goats here, but you will find well
muscled, healthy & conditioned animals running on pasture.
Our
does are run on a large variety of natural forage, grasses &
plenty of exercise. They are able to maintain a hardy
appearance & produce consistently strong, healthy kids all on
their own.
Our doe
herd consists of FB Traditional, and High % Boer goats.
